Match by colony, not by "South Delhi"
South Delhi covers too much ground to treat as one area. Greater Kailash to Vasant Kunj is a long evening drive across Outer Ring Road traffic, while GK to Chittaranjan Park or Kalkaji is a few minutes. Tutors who stay for the whole year are nearly always the ones who live a colony or two away.
When you search on EZ Tuitions, enter your colony and block with the class, board and subjects. Nearby tutors appear first; each profile lists subjects, boards, qualification and experience, so you can shortlist a few and book a free demo.
Colonies we match in
We match families across Saket, Malviya Nagar, Sheikh Sarai, Sarvapriya Vihar, Hauz Khas, Green Park, Safdarjung Enclave, Lajpat Nagar, Defence Colony, South Extension, Greater Kailash I and II, Chittaranjan Park, Kalkaji, Alaknanda, Mehrauli and Vasant Kunj.
If you are near a metro station — Hauz Khas, Malviya Nagar or Saket on the Yellow Line, Lajpat Nagar or Kalkaji Mandir on the Violet Line, or the Magenta Line stops through Greater Kailash — mention it; a tutor on the same line is often the easiest to keep.
Boards and classes across South Delhi
South Delhi families come from a mix of boards: CBSE, ICSE and, for some, international boards. Home-tuition demand runs from primary maths, English and Hindi, through Class 9 and 10 maths and science, to Class 11 and 12 Physics, Chemistry, Maths, Biology, Economics and Accounts.
Set your board and search subject by subject in the senior classes. If your child is on an international board or preparing for JEE, NEET or CUET, say so in the request so you see tutors who teach that syllabus or level.
Fees, and what to agree first
Each tutor sets their own rate and shows it on their profile, and you pay them directly — EZ Tuitions takes no commission on the teaching fee. Our Delhi page and the Delhi NCR rate study publish the range tutors in Delhi typically ask, so you can check a quote.
In the demo, settle the days per week, the session length (usually 60 to 90 minutes) and the monthly total before the first paid class.
Verified profiles and a free demo
A verified profile means the tutor's identity has been confirmed against government ID and their qualifications checked, with a real name, photo and subject list. Look for the verified badge and read reviews from other families, then take the free demo before deciding.
