ANTHE 2026: Exam Dates This Week, Registration, and How to Prepare

If your child is in Class 5 to 12 and wants to attempt ANTHE 2026, the Aakash National Talent Hunt Exam, the window is still open but closing fast. The remaining offline exams are on 25 October and 1 November 2026, and the online exams run from 27 October to 1 November 2026, as published on Aakash's official ANTHE website (anthe.aakash.ac.in). Registration costs Rs 200 and takes about ten minutes online. Here is everything you need to act this week.

What is ANTHE?

ANTHE is Aakash Institute's annual national scholarship exam for school students. Lakhs of students across India take it every year, for two reasons: winners get scholarships of up to 100% on Aakash's classroom and digital courses, plus a share of cash awards worth Rs 2.5 crore, and every participant gets an All India Rank, which is a useful benchmark of where a student stands nationally before exams like JEE and NEET. It is open to students from Class 5 through Class 12.

All dates and rules in this post come from Aakash's official ANTHE website and its published terms and conditions, as of 22 October 2026.

ANTHE 2026 exam dates still available

ANTHE 2026 is being conducted in both offline and online modes across multiple days. Two of the early sittings (11 and 14 October) have already happened. These remain, per the official schedule:

• Offline at exam centres: 25 October and 1 November 2026
• Offline in schools: 28 and 30 October 2026 (conducted through participating schools)
• Online: any day from 27 October to 1 November 2026

You choose your mode while registering. One rule worth knowing from the official terms: if you want to change your mode after registering (offline to online or the other way), the request must go in at least seven days before your exam date. So pick the mode you are confident about.

How to register for ANTHE 2026

1. Go to the official ANTHE website (anthe.aakash.ac.in) and start the registration, or visit your nearest Aakash branch and fill the form there.
2. Keep ready a self-attested copy of the marksheet for the class your child is studying in (Class 5 to 12). If the marksheet is not available, a valid school ID card works, as per the official terms.
3. Pay the Rs 200 registration fee. Note that the fee is non-refundable under the official terms.
4. Choose your exam mode and date carefully, and use a mobile number you check often: the admit card, official updates, and the online exam itself all come through that number on the Aakash portal.

After registering, the portal gives you complimentary sample papers. Four additional online mock tests are available for Rs 50, per the official terms, and are a reasonable buy if your child has never taken a timed national-level paper.

Is ANTHE worth taking?

An honest answer, because parents deserve one. ANTHE is, at its core, Aakash's way of finding and enrolling students, and the scholarships apply only to Aakash's own courses. If you have no interest in Aakash coaching, the scholarship itself may not matter to you. But even then, the exam has real value: for Rs 200, your child takes a properly conducted national-level paper, experiences real exam pressure without any consequence, and comes out with an All India Rank. For a Class 9 or 10 student eyeing JEE or NEET, that benchmark alone is worth the fee, especially before committing to any coaching decision.

How to prepare in the days that are left

There is no separate ANTHE syllabus to buy: the paper tests your current class's science and mathematics along with mental ability. With a week or less to go, this is what actually helps:

• Solve the official sample papers first. They show the exact question style and the time pressure. Do at least two under timed conditions.
• Revise your own class syllabus, nothing beyond it. This is not the week for new chapters. It is the week to make sure you do not lose marks on what you already know.
• Practise mental ability daily. Reasoning questions reward pattern familiarity, and thirty minutes a day for a week visibly moves scores.
• Fix your weak topics with help if needed. If one or two topics keep costing marks, a few focused one-on-one sessions can close them quickly.
